Werewolves & Dogman

Werewolves have been in folklore for a very long time. As crazy as it may sound, there have long been sightings of a beast that people have described as an upright walking, 7+ foot monster with the snout, fangs, and ears of a canine. Some have referred to this creature as a werewolf, others have referred to it as a Dogman. Is there any validity to either pf their existence?
